An interesting, if somewhat bleak, zombie novel. I'd definitely be interesting in reading more about Gus and Scotty.
I really enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to reading more. Hopefully we'll see a follow-up book soon.
Just finished this one. It was simple to read and follow. I finished it in about two hours after my little one went to sleep last night. As for how it works...that remains to be seen. I haven't worked up the nerve to try it yet. I may report back after we've given it a shot.ETA: This definitely works though it isn't for everyone. Madison cried for about 45 minutes the first night and about broke my heart. The second night she cried for less than two minutes and slept 12+ hours. Same thing on the third night. I hope it continues to work well as she adjusts to the new routine.
I should have read the reviews before I bought this book. I was expecting stories. Instead, it was one quote per page. Sometimes there was one quote stretched out into two pages, which is just ridiculous. It took me like ten minutes to read through the entire thing.
This was an interesting read. To me, this plot felt like a homage of sorts to Harlequin's secret baby novels - which I grew up reading and still consider an occasional guilty pleasure.
Bounty has a little bit of everything: vampires, zombies, hookers, and lets not forget the hot men and a hint of romance. I'm looking forward to book two!
